FAQ

What is the difference between northern pine compared to pine,
from for example the eastern countries?
The northern timber is late-grown. This means that it has many beautiful annual rings, smells of wood, has a natural moisture content which means that it does not crack when you screw it in.

What is the thickness of the walls?
Our walls are made of 45 mm plank.

I have ordered a barbecue hut, what do I need to know?

The cottage is delivered by truck to your specified address. The road must be passable for a truck with a trailer, and the truck also needs turning space. You need a tractor or wheel loader with forks to unload the cabin from the car. In some cases (Does not apply to 15-17m2) delivery can be made by car that has a tail lift. Special conditions and prices apply for this. Contact us for more information.

I received the item but it has transport damage, what should I do?

Always check the package before signing the consignment note. If there is damage to the packaging, notify the driver and ask him to write the damage on the consignment note. Take photos on the packaging and send the photos to us.

I want to start with the assembly, what should I do first?

You need to prepare a foundation. We have 3 suggestions for different variants. Remember that you must have supply air pipes buried in the ground to get oxygen supply to the grill (we sell ready-made supply air sets that you can order at the same time as the cottage).

How do I treat the cottage?

Our cottages are delivered untreated. To ensure that the cottage lasts for several years to come, it has to be treated on the outside and inside. Contact a specialist / paint dealer.

Other conditions

The buyer is responsible for basic work, assembly, sealing, insulation and treatment.

Note: During a snowy winter, a lot of snow accumulates on the roof. Keep in mind that it will be heavy and the customer is responsible for shoveling the snow off the roof.
